Fit505 Half Rack with Pull Up Bar

Very study rack, easy enough to put together. I will say the pull up bar is a lot thicker than I expected. Definitely not your standard thickness, which I'd say is normally similar to a barbell, instead, it's more like using thick grips! Therefore it's a bit hard to use.

Timely and honest shipping right to the door. The package was in separate deliveries and customer service was great to deal with when I had a question, 10/10 will buy more from this site.

Amazing stuff

I have only received 1 of 2 boxes. A little frustrated as I have purchased from this company before . Can’t set it up without all the parts.

Nice and sturdy. Made of thick steel. Wish it included weight storage but it is a standard size so other rack accessories you can buy online do fit. It would be nice if the j hooks had rubber or something to not damage the bar knurling or finish.

Great product overall. The only thing is not recommended for people over 6 feet tall. I am 6 feet tall exactly and it's basically maxed out at my height. Works great for my height or under.

Assembly took some time with just the one page instructions. Pieces came dirty, chipped and one of the plastic stoppers was broken right out the box. Aside from that, when it comes to the actual use during the workout its not bad, great for squats, bench press and the hanging bar is pretty good.

The quality is great. Super easy to put together. It looks nice. The price point is fantastic. So many options for use. The only complaint is that the pull up bar is quite thick but I don’t think I’ll use it much so it isn’t a big deal to me.

This rack was very easy to put together. All I needed was a ratcheting socket wrench. It only took a couple of hours.

It both looks and feels very sturdy. On that note, it looks great overall!

My one caution is that I am too tall to stand up straight under the pull up bar, which means I need to find a work around for squatting. The product is 80” tall, but because of the pull up bar, the clearance is less than that. I am 6’3” and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone around my height or over.

If I could go back in time I would get the full rack to get more clearance, and the better j hooks.

Nevertheless, this feels like good value and I look forward to using it!

Love the half rack- amazing for the cost!!! Wish the top bar was slimmer, tough to do pull ups on such a thick bar, but good for grip strength

With growing teens we decided to set up a home gym for our family for Christmas this year to use instead of spending money on gym memberships and wasting time on travel to-and-from. We're so glad we decided to purchase this equipment through the The Fitness Factory. The prices are very competitive, the equipment is solid and excellent quality and the customer service is top-notch from purchase to pickup! This rack is solid and fits well in our basement which is just under 8' high. It was one of the best investments we've ever made for our family!

We are SO HAPPY with this rack. We searched for a good quality half rack that would fit in our basement that has 7 foot ceilings. It fits perfectly into our basement and was easy to put together. It’s sturdy and functional. Was also impressed with how quickly it arrived and the cost.

Amazing rack for a budget option, doesn't take up much space either. Only complaint is that the pull up bar is too close to the ground to be of much use to me, most people over 5'10 will have some trouble doing pull ups on it. Other then that it's very good

Overall I'm pretty happy with this rack. It's pretty sturdy and looks great. It's bigger than I expected it to be, but room wasn't an issue as it was going in my garage.

Two things to note though, as others have mentioned: first is that one of the plastic pieces came broken. Not a deal breaker as it's just for looks, but a minor annoyance. Also, as another noted, the rubber feet came warped. The longest part of the assembly process was trying to get these on. I eventually figured out to use a screwdriver around the inside of it to help it on. Pushing them on by hand was literally impossible.

One last thing to mention is that the black powder coated finish on the hooks started wearing off pretty much immediately from setting the Olympic bar on it. Not a big deal, and I'll probably upgrade them down the road. All in all, pretty decent and expect it to last for years

This rack allows me to do almost everything I could do at a gym. The pull-up bar is a bit low (6.5ft) but for this price, I'm more than happy with my purchase. Easy to put together, as well!

Installation was simple, easy to use. I did upgrade the rear to J-Hooks since the barbell rest is so wide and grabbed some weight holders to keep the extra weights off the ground. Really happy with it for the super reasonable price!

Well designed, solidly built and for the price a tremendous value. Definitely recommend this.

Easy to install, sturdy, I could've given it a 5 star but one of the plastic piece that sits on the catch but it's mostly aesthetic. Overall, as a novice, I find the quality is excellent and it's something that I will be using for years to come. I'll be using it more for overall body fitness rather than use it for power strength. The height is perfect for my 5,5ft physique. Sturdy, and the height is good for my basement.

Easy set-up, and quite sturdy. Really the best deal for the quality. Looked on Kijiji and nothing even close to this price range for 2nd hand racks. Don't be fooled though, this is quite well made and will be sufficient for the majority of users. I don't use the top bar for pull-ups - too thick. If there was one negative it would be that the rack could be an inch or two narrower but not a big issue and probably is designed with safety in mind.
Overall great purchase. Bought at Fitness Factory in Mississauga, overall great experience.

I live in a small-ish basement apartment with low ceilings. I discovered a love for lifting two years ago and started investing in home equipment for days when I don’t want to go to the gym but need to do something. I needed a rack I could use for squats and bench work that wouldn’t break the bank and would fit in my limited space. This piece is stellar on both accounts, and it was cheaper than amazon. I spent hours researching and this one hands down had the best reviews and it’s easy to see why.
I’m 5’0” tall. I was very happy this shipped in two boxes as it enabled me to carry it down into my place without too much trouble. I was able to very easily assemble the whole thing by myself in about an hour while taking my time. I’d say getting the rubber feet on took the longest because they warped during storage/shipping. This looks great, everything was in perfect condition, all the parts were there, and the photo showing assembly was easy enough to follow. There were some pieces not shown on the photo that were included but some common sense quickly deduced what they were for. I used it yesterday for back squats and the thing doesn’t budge. Granted I only have 70lbs on there right now but I really love it. Very satisfied with my purchase and definitely recommend it. My ceilings are 81” so I assembled the base first and then added parts from there.

I only paid $249 plus shipping and tax, but even at the current $299, this is absolutely outstanding value for the dollar. Is it the same quality as a Rogue power rack? No. Is it way more than sufficient for 90% or home gyms. Absolutely. Easy to build, easy adjustments. Things to consider that are less than perfect:
- top pull up bar is thicker than a standard pull up bar, so your grip will definitely be challenged - the back hooks aren’t typical j hooks and I will upgrade them eventually. This is the only major con as far as I’m concerned. They slant slightly downwards and my Olympic bar is destroying the finish after 2-3 months. Otherwise, it’s very sturdy - had a friend rack and back squat >400 lbs with no complaints or concerns. The way I see it, I could buy and replace this rack 3 times before reaching the cost of most other racks. The finishes on this rack will look beaten up faster than a high end rack, but the function will remain.
